Mr. Dalquist went into the general store business at Middle River, Minn., and on June 12, 1907, he was united in marriage to Margaret Mattson, the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. A. Mattson of Alexandria. Later he went into business for himself and organized the Dalquist Electric Co. He continued in this business for about ten years and after retiring he and Mrs. Dalquist toured the Scandinavian counties, spending the greater part of this time in Sweden, where they visited relatives and friends. When they returned from Europe, they purchased the Dr. Cole residence where they have continued to live for the past 5 and one half years.
Mr. Dalquist passed away at the St. Luke's Hospital, March 13, after an illness of almost five weeks. He is survived by his wife, one brother, Gust Dalquist, of Spokane, Wash.
