BAILEYSVILLE - Bonnie Trent Adams, 65, of Baileysville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 28, 2004, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born November 6, 1939 at Cedar Creek, she was the daughter of Pearlie May Belcher-Trent (1915-2009) of Baileysville and the late William "Willie" C. Trent (1910-1972).

Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Wyoming County. She was an active member of Indian Creek Community Church for over 30 years.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Willard Trent (1942-1995), Jackie Trent (1950-1951), and James Harold "J.T." Trent (Deceased); three sisters, Lola Bell Trent-Walker (1933-1990), Marie Trent (1939-1939), and Mary Lou Trent (1947-1947); a son-in-law, Darrell Junior Smith (Deceased); and a great-grandchild, Jadon Brown (Deceased).

In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Frank Eugene Adams (1934-2013) of the home whom she married on July 13, 1957 in Pineville, Wyoming County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, Wyoming County, WV, 1957, Page 87, Application Date: July 11, 1957); two sons, Jeff Adams of Baileysville & companion Leona Daniels of Kentucky and Joey Adams & wife Dawn Adams of Pineville; a daughter, Diana Adams-Smith of Beckley; six brothers, Clarence Trent of Pineville, Robert Trent & wife Debra Trent of Coal City, Alex Zander Trent (1937-2018) & wife Maria "Faye" Cline-Trent (B. 1944) of Simon, Theodore "Teddy" Trent & wife Debbie Trent of Simon, Charles "Charlie" Trent & wife Connie of Briar Creek, and Jesse James-Trent (1935-2015) &wife Shirley Naomie Belcher-Trent (B. 1937) of NC; two sisters, Shelby Trent-Helton & husband Buck Helton of Brenton and Gloria Dean Trent-Harsayni (1944-2020) & husband Billy Joe Harsauyni (1938-2010) of Brenton; six grandchildren, Tabatha Brown & husband Tim Brown, Timmy Smith, and Jason, Adriane, Todd, and Jonathan Adams.

Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Calfee Funeral Service Chapel, Pineville, with the Revs. Herb Cook and Scott Cline officiating. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny.
