He graduated from Marinette High School, and served in the Merchant Marine and U.S. Army. Leonard worked in construction until starting with Scott Paper in 1977. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, cutting wood and making maple syrup.
He is survived by his wife Helen (Guth);
daughter, Tara Chapman and grandson, Wyatt;
son, Jody (Tracy) and grandson, Logan;
sister, Shirley (Cliff) Champeau,
and several nieces and nephews.
Per his request, a gathering of family and friends was held at Applejack's of Marinette, WI.
