MAYFIELD Sidney, Jr., beloved husband of Bertha Mayfield (nee Peace), pre-deceased by his first wife, Audrey (Adkins) Mayfield, loving father of Allen Mayfield and Richard (Peggy) Thornsburg of Bradenton, FL, cherished grandfather of Karen Forrester and Kenny Thornsburg and five great grandchildren, dear brother Bill (Ruth) Mayfield of West Chester, Ohio, Robert (Mary) Mayfield of Pikeville, KY and Gladys Wyatt of Richlands, VA. Sidney, a resident of Hamersville, Ohio, died August 13, 2006. Age 79. He served in the U.S. Army in WWII, was a member of F&AM Sandy Valley Masonic Lodge #17 and retired from Ford Motor Company. Visitation Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, St. Rt. 125, Amelia with a Masonic service at 7:30 P.M. Funeral service Wednesday 10 A.M. at the funeral home.
