David and Anne had at least nine children, possibly more. In the 1790 census, David is living in Washington Co., PA along with several adult children. By the 1800 census, they seem to have settled in Erie Co., PA David remained there until his death.
His wife, Anne evidently didn't want to follow them west, as she remained in Westerly and married Dr. Joshua Babcock, May 28, 1780, in Westerly, RI.
