The funeral of Miss Gertrude Portner, 85, of Cleveland, former resident of Massillon, who died Saturday morning, was held today at 9:30 a. m. at St. Mary's Catholic church. The Rev. James M. Eischen officated. Interment was made in St. Mary's cemetery. The pall bearers were John Hammersmith, Anthony Hammersmith, Hugh Powers, Cyrill Morgan, Stanley File and Charles Henrick. Gertrude was the sister of the late Bernard Casmir Portner.
