OBITUARY

Noah Brooks was born on August 19, 1889, and died on December 8, 1932, at the age of 43 years, 3 months and 14 days. His death was as a result of pneumonia. Noah was a member of the first contingent to enter the World war, leaving Unionville in June, 1917, and on the 18th in the following September he started across to the scene of the war as a member of the 110th Ammunation Train 35th Division. He served overseas during the remainder of the war.

He was married to Cora E. Dennis in 1916, and besides her leaves three children - one boy and two girls- Robert, 13; Ruby, 11, and Vera, 9. One girl died in infancy. He also leaves a aged mother, Sarah Brooks. His father died about twenty years ago. Four brothers also survive him, as follows: Mace, Hot Springs, Ark.; William, St. Petersburg, Fla.; D. E. of Unionville; and Geo. W., of Kansas City, Kas., one brother Robert, is deceased. Three sisters are deceased and three are living. The body was interred in the Unionville cemetery on December 9.
