Mrs. Lloyd had spend the greater part of her life in and near Glenwood and was well known to all of our older residents. At the time of her death she was making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Walling, near Sidney.

Rosa Schade, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Schade, was born in Milwaukee, Wis., Sept. 28, 1858 and passed away Jan. 22, 1936, age 77 years, three months and 25 days.

When a child she moved with her parents to Kansas. There she united with the Methodist church and took an active part in the church.

She was a very kindly person, beloved by all.

The surviving children are: John R. Lloyd of Athol, Kan., George E. Lloyd of Malvern, Evan J. and W.O. Lloyd of Sidney, and Mrs. Mattie Walling of near Hamburg. Mrs. Morgan Pauly is a granddaughter.
