HARPER, IRMA LILLIAN ADAMS A native and lifelong resident of Bogalusa, she died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, at Louisiana Heart Hospital, Lacombe. She was 78. Survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, James Douglas and Linda Harper, Baton Rouge, Edwin Wesley and Paula Harper, Bogalusa, and Johnnie Mack and Paula Harper, Slidell; five grandchildren, Christie Thomasson and husband, Danny, Ponchatoula, Toshia Card and husband, Todd, Gainesville, Fla., Wesley Harper and wife April, Bogalusa, Kevin Harper, Baton Rouge; and Amber Ingram and husband Walt, Live Oak, Fla.; seven great-grandchildren, Cade and Christopher Thomasson, Nico Marrone II, Hayden Card, Jade Burt, Claire Harper and Paige Fisher; two sisters, Vivian Adams and Winnie Blackwell Williams, both of Bogalusa; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Willie James Harper; four brothers, Sollie Adams, Vernon Adams, Homer Adams and Mackie Adams; six sisters, Mildred Adams, Mary Ellen Adams, Mable Megehee, Myrtis Adams, Mollie Mixon and Inez Funderburk. Visiting at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, Bogalusa, Friday, Nov. 12, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visiting in the chapel Saturday, Nov. 13, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 2 p.m., conducted by Bro. Lynn Martin. Interment in Ben's Ford Baptist Church Cemetery, Bogalusa. For many years, she was employed at the Bogalusa Stationery. She was a lifelong member of Ben's Ford Baptist Church, where her father and mother, Fielding Mack and Ellen America Jenkins Adams, were charter members.
