BOGALUSA - Funeral arrangements have been completed for Vivian Dortha Adams, age 86, who died yesterday in LSU Bogalusa Medical Center. Born May 31, 1919, she was a native and life-long resident of Bogalusa and a retired associate of Crown Zellerbach Corporation, where she worked in the Box Factory from 1943 to 1974.

She was also a life-long member of Ben's Ford Baptist Church in Bogalusa where her father and mother, Rev. Feilding Mack and Ellen America Jenkins Adams were charter members. She was known affectionately as "Aunt V.V."

She is survived by one sister, Winnie Adams Blackwell Williams of Bogalusa; two sisters-in-law, Gladys Adams and Juanita Adams, both of Bogalusa; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. and Mrs. F. Mack Adams; seven sisters, Mildred Adams, Mary Ellen Adams, Mable McGehee, Myrtis Adams, Mollie Mixon, Inez Funderburk and Irma Harper; and four brothers, Sollie Adams, Vernon Adams, Homer Adams and Mackie Adams.

Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, continuing after 9 a.m. tomorrow until time for the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Pastor Lynn Martin will officiate, with interment in the McGehee Cemetery.
