RALPH G. KELLENBENZ

Ralph G. Kellenbenz, age 85, a resident of River's Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of 1030 S. 39th St., Manitowoc, died late Wednesday evening, Jan. 20, 2010, at the rehabilitation center.

Ralph was born on Oct. 13, 1924, in the town of Eaton, Manitowoc County. He was the son of the late Walter and Christina Weinsheim Kellenbenz. Ralph was a graduate of Valders High School. He was a long-time employee of the Herald Times Reporter as a typesetter and was later employed at Manitowoc Ship Building Company. On May 30, 1976, he married Marilyn Groelle at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses, Manitowoc. Ralph was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years: Marilyn; one sister: Dorothy Thomas, Hartland; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother and sister-in-law: Wallace and Esme "Faye" Kellenbenz.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses, 4915 Hecker Road, Manitowoc. Officiating will be Mr. Keith J. Burnett. Cremation has taken place and entombment of the cremated remains will be at Knollwood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call at the Kingdom Hall on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m.

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
