SPOTSWOOD - ROSE P. CAROLLO CASTUCCI died on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. She was 81.

Born in Bloomfield, she resided in Belleville before moving to Spotswood in 1965.

Prior to retiring Rose was a lunchroom monitor at Spotswood High School, where she worked for 10 years.

She was a Communicant of Immaculate Conception RC Church in Spotswood.

Aunt Wizzy was dearly loved by her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Rose loved listening to Andrea Bocelli and truly believed in Angels.

She loved her students at Spotswood High School and appreciated the fact that they would still remember her after all these years.

Rose was predeceased by her husband, Thomas, in 2001; four brothers: Salvatore, Frank, Michael and Jack Carollo, and two sisters, Elizabeth Crumrine and Tina Hartman.

Surviving are her son, James Castucci of Spotswood; two brothers, James Carollo and his wife, Maryann, of East Hanover and Simone Carollo of Bloomfield; sister-in-law Ginny Carollo and brother-in-law Ernest Hartsman.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:15 AM at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Interment will be in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
