Connie was born on February 19th, 1943 in Fort Wayne, IN, the daughter of Harold and Avonelle Bergman. She lived in Decatur, IN and graduated from Monmouth High School in 1961.
Connie attended Purdue University, graduating in 1966 with a degree in Interior Design and Commercial Art. It was at Purdue where she met her surviving husband John (Jack) Edmondson. The couple married in 1965.
Connie was a talented and accomplished artist, and enjoyed playing a variety of musical instruments. She was very proud of her involvement with the Ninety-Nines, the International Organization of Women Pilots. However, she was most proud of her surviving children, Shawn, Michelle and Natalie.
A devoted wife and mother, Connie dedicated her life to her family, and she cherished her time with her five beautiful grandchildren.
Connie is also survived by her sister, Joye Strouse Cole, and her three brothers, Steve, Ken, and Mike Strouse.
