Note: Albert was initially buried in the Parrish Cem. & ater re-interred in the Craig IOOF Cemetery.

Albert Ernst, the infant son of Dr. and Mrs. Kaltenbach, died March 12, 1905, aged 4 years, 5 months, and 24 days, after about nine days illness.

Funeral services were held on the lawn in front of the residence, conducted by Rev. West, of the Presbyterian Church, who based his remarks on Matt. 18:14, "Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in Heaven, that one of these little ones should perish." Opening the services the hymn "Keep on the Sunny Side of Life' was sung, it being his favorite song of all the songs Albert had learned at Sunday School. After a comforting address by the minister, the services concluded wit the son -"Oh! It is Beautiful," a hymn composed from the dying words of Dwight L. Moody, then the cortege proceeded to the Parris Cemetery where the body was interred. The casket was covered with beautiful flowers from many friends.

Albert was a very bright and attractive little fellow, loved and admired by all who knew him for his very affectionate and happy disposition; and will be greatly missed and mourned by the whole community. General sympathy is felt and expressed for the bereaved family."
