Services for Mayme C. Johnson, 85, of Murray, formerly of Hopkinsville, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with the Revs. Heyward Roberts and Jack Gordon officiating. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Greenhill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville. Mrs. Johnson died at 6:46 p.m. Saturday at Spring Creek Health Care Center. A Calloway County native, she was a homemaker and a member of Grace Baptist Church. Surviving are three daughters, Sharon F. Lane of Cadiz, Bonita C. Johnson of Hopkinsville and Patti Card of Senoia, Ga.; two sons, Joe T. Johnson of Plano, Texas, and R.B. Johnson of Houston; a stepson, J.G. ôGooseö Johnson of Hopkinsville; a sister, Dorothy Kernell of Murray; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Thomas "Jim" Johnson; a son, Eddie Nelson Johnson; four brothers; and two sisters. Her parents were O.C. Cathcart and Lula May Orr Cathcart.
