Sadie Orchard was born in Mills County, Iowa. There are conflicting dates for her birth. Moving west, she found her desires as a stagecoach driver and other occupations. She did well in business only to die poor and rest in a paupers grave.

Sadie was a wonderful community centered woman and a woman of many talents. The Community was richer for her being a part of it.

Sadie Creech was a very colorful woman. It appears she lied about her age and where she was from. She claimed to be from England – however she was born in Mills County, Iowa.
