Michael J. Bolz, 89, of Chilton, died Friday, Feb. 7, at St. Mary's Home in Manitowoc.
Funeral services were held Feb. 10 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chilton with the Rev. David Christel as celebrant. The family received relatives and friends at St. Mary's Church before the services.
Entombment services were held at Calvary Chapel Mausoleum in Manitowoc with the St. Mary's Nursing Home Chaplain, Rev. Tom Wojciechowski, as celebrant.
Michael Bolz was born April 22, 1896, son of John and Eva Heimerl Bolz.
He married Irma Brunmeier on October 30, 1922.
Mr. Bolz was in the automobile business until his retirement in 1965. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Eagles No. 1288 and Kiwanis.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters and son-in-law, Ruth E. Bolz of Chilton and Dolores and Ernest Kuster of Portage; and three sisters, Olive Masden of Sheboygan and Sally Krampe and Fidelia Macy of Milwaukee.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
A memorial has been established in his name for St. Mary's Church in Chilton.

Bolz [1868-1930] and Eva Heimerl [1874-1926] –born in Town of Brillion, Calumet County –from Aug. 27, 1927 until his death in 1986, Michael owned the lot with former blacksmith shop at W1530 Highway 151 in Hayton –after he purchased this lot, he converted it into a car dealership and service station –his wife Irma then sold this lot with former car dealership along with Lots 13 and 15 of Block 5 of the Hayton Plat to James and Patricia Christopherson –from April 25, 1936 to July 3, 1956, Michael owned the lot with house at W1525 Highway 151 in Hayton, Calumet County, which was across the highway from the blacksmith shop –from Oct. 18, 1955 to July 26, 1973, Michael owned a lot 60 feet wide along the west side of Weeks Road in Hayton –automobile dealer –residence at time of death was 635 Court Street, Chilton –died from "pneumonia, one week –arteriosclerotic heart disease –renal failure –organic brain syndrome") –buried at Calvary Cemetery, City of Manitowoc [marriage record Manitowoc 17-637] [death record Calumet 25-339]
