Delores D. Hartmann, age 81, formerly of Kiel, died peacefully on Sunday morning, September 5, 2021 at Libby's House, Chilton where she had resided for the past 2 years.
Delores was born on February 10, 1940, daughter of the late Benjamin and Josephine (Thuecks) Faust. She married Hugo Hartmann in September of 1963 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kiel. She was a full-time homemaker until the children were school age. Delores and Hugo worked side by side on their pig farm. She was also employed with Leverenz Shoe Company in New Holstein for many years.
She is survived by her husband: Hugo, three children: Lisa Keen of Sun Prairie, WI, David Hartmann and Tina Hartmann, both of Kiel; a granddaughter: Becci Keen of Seattle, WA; and four siblings: Isabel Kienbaum, Leona Sobiech, Melvin (Germaine) Faust, and Florence Walsdorf. Delores is further survived by her brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: Adam (Anita) Hartmann, Al Hartmann and Sr. Therese Hartmann, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Delores was preceded in death by her parents: Benjamin and Josephine; siblings: LaVerne Faust, Caroline (Roger) Noworatzky, Gilbert, Elmer, Lester and Edwin Faust as well as numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Funeral Services for Delores will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home (815 6th Street, Kiel) with entombment to follow at Knollwood Memorial Chapel, Manitowoc. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM.
