DEDHAM -- Pasquale "Pat" Abbatangelo, 94, of Dedham and formerly of Readville, died Thursday, May 18, 2006, at the Caritas Norwood Hospital.
He was the husband of Jennie (Ferzoco) Abbatangelo.
Mr. Abbatangelo was born in Italy, the son of the late Francesco and Angelina (DeFuria) Abbatangelo. He was a longtime resident of both Dedham and Readville.
He was a member of the Sons of Italy in Hyde Park.
Besides his wife, he leaves his daughter, Joan Cannistraro and her husband, Vincent, of Dedham; his daughter-in-law, Janice Abbatangelo of Norwood; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his brother, John Abbatangelo of Readville; his sister, Margaret Laurenti of Milton.
He was the father of the late Frank Abbatangelo, and the brother of the late Domenic, Leonard, Americo and Nicholas Abbatangelo, Eleanor Giasullo and Palomina Moscaritolo.
A funeral will be held Monday, May 22, at 8 a.m., from the from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home (www.gfdoherty.com), 456 High St., Dedham. A funeral Mass will follow, at 9 a.m., in St. Susanna's Church, Dedham.
Burial will be in in Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park.
Visiting hours are Sunday, May 21, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
