Michael O. "Mickey" Dahm, age 85, of 1015 S. 25th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning, March 29, 2007, at Harbor House, Manitowoc.
He was born Aug. 10, 1921, in Two Rivers, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dahm, Sr. Michael was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II in the Pacific Theater.
On Dec. 27, 1941, he married the former Jeanette Tulach at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Michael was employed at Anheuser Busch, retiring in 1987.
He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, old time music and also drove stock cars.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Dahm, Manitowoc; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Cindy Dahm, Thailand; Jon and Brenda Dahm, Rockwood; four grandchildren, Warren, Derek, Josh and Brianna; four sisters, Lila Gospodarek, Manitowoc; Eleanor Flentjie, Two Rivers; Iva Kouba, Two Rivers; Carol Mae Nehring, Mishicot; and a brother, Martin Dahm, Madison.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Dahm.
Private family funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service was the Rev. John Schuetze with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
