A native of Greer, She was a daughter of the late Elisha V. and Nannie Pawnee (Vaughn) Bridwell, and a member of Victor Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Jerry McKinney and Michael McKinney both of Greer, Thomas R. McKinney of Easley; four daughters, Joan Bryant of Greer, Kaye Durham of Greer, Sarah Watson of Taylors, and Martha Deming of Greer; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by three sons, Ronald McKinney, Benny McKinney, and Rev. Eddie McKinney; three sisters, Bessie Perkins, Ruby Leonard and Geneva Lister; one brother, Hubert Bridwell; and one grandchild, Jerry Bryant.
Funeral services were held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 2006 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by the Rev. Ken Vickery, Rev. Marion McCuen and Rev. Ray Hatcher. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
