Calvin Roach was the only son of William Hiram Roach and Elizabeth King. He was born about 1846 and died April 4, 1865 at Camp Chase, Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio. Co. C, Ohio 194th Infantry regiment had 38 men die from disease. Calvin died from Rubeola Measles followed by Erysipelas.
