Sylvia E. Gauthier, 80, of St. Mary Home, Manitowoc, died Monday morning, Janutary 15, 1990, at Holy Family Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 12 noon at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Presiding at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Ronald Reimer and bural will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Gauthier was born December 17, 1909, at Manitowoc Rapids, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Louis and Alice Coutley Gauthier. She was employed with Globe Laundry Company until retiring in 1987, due to illness.
Survivors include a son, Michael L. Gauthier of Two Rivers; a brother, Richard Gauthier of Manitowoc; four sisters, Louise Sheraski of Manitowoc, Viola Gauthier of Manitowoc, Alice Khall of Manitowoc and Elaine Holschbach of Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law, Corrinne Gauthier of Manitowoc and Juanita Gauthier of Manitowoc; three grandchildren, Jerrry Lee, Lisa Ann and Kevin Karl all of Orlando, Florida; a great grandchild; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Earl and Edward, and a sister, Dorothy.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. led by Deacon William Kletz.
