A Graveside Service is scheduled for Thursday, April 16, 2015, 10:00 AM, at Carlsbad Cemetery with Jason Kraft of West Main Baptist Church, Artesia, NM officiating.

Sharon L. Starr was born August 19, 1930 in Price, Utah to Arch and Mary Sloine (Wright) Anderson. She liked to talk on the CB Radio and her handle was “Mama Goose”. She enjoyed going to the beach, picnicking and holidays with family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnny Starr, Sr.; 2 daughters: Jeannine Tidwell and Rita Starr.
She is survived by her children: Johnny Starr, Jr. of Carlsbad, NM, Brenda Landers and husband, Dale of Austin, Texas, Roger Starr of Carlsbad, NM, David Starr and wife, Julie of Carlsbad, NM, Mary Lane and husband, Darren of Carlsbad, NM; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Thomason and brother, Alfred Anderson.
