SERENO C. HANSEN

Sereno C. Hansen, 69, of 826 S. 18th St., Manitowoc, died
Tuesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Robert Karuhn will officiate with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Hansen was born Aug. 3, 1907, at Manitowoc, son of the late Mead and Azuba Underwood Hansen. He married Frances Schweigl Fricke May 5, 1956, at Crown Point, Ind. Mr. Hansen was a performer in the Boy Scouts Circus which was directed by Mr. Billy Schultz of Manitowoc and was also later a performer in the Billy Schultz circus.

He was employed at Dow Canvas Co., Manitowoc, for more than 45 years, retiring in 1970.

Survivors include his wife, three sons, Eugene, in the US. Navy in Florida, Dean, of Manitowoc, and Ronald, of Indiana; a step-daughter, Mrs. Miles (Priscilla) Ponash: two brothers, Mead and Russell, of Manitowoc and two
sisters, Mrs. Laurence (Katherine) Kline, of Michigan and Mrs. Arthur(Eleanore) Strupp, of Manitowoc and 11 grandchildren. A son, Charles, and two brothers, Ralph and Norman, preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, where a prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m.
