Mrs. Bernadette C. Hartmann, 80, of 4121 Springhill Dr., Manitowoc, died Thursday evening in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 9:30 am Monday in Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 am in St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Hartmann, nee Bernadette Gagnon, was born May 28, 1896 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Urbain and Elizabeth Moquin Gagnon. She married George Eggert June 17, 1919 in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death May 12, 1937. She then married Edward Hartmann Oct. 3, 1963 in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death Sept. 9, 1973.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, George and Alice Eggert of Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Kenneth Miller of Manitowoc; two step sons, Elroy and Norbert Hartmann of New Jersey; two step daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Tina) Heft and Mrs. Gilbert (Madeline) Fluhr of New Holstein; 30 grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home 4pm to 9 pm Sunday. Prayer service will be held at 7:30 pm.
