Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 1995, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Ronald Reimer with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born July 30, 1910, in the town of Manitowoc Rapids, daughter of the late Thomas and Rose Mecha Stehule. She married Leo F. Hastreiter June 5, 1928, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death January 28, 1987. Mrs. Hastreiter was a charter member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Germaine Thiel, Two Rivers; one son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Arlene Hastreiter, Manitowoc; three grandchildren, Fay Dreger, Diane Polifka and David Hastreiter; five great-grandchildren, Kerri Ann Polifka, Ryan and Tyler Dreger, Jessica and Jason Hastreiter; one brother and sister-in-law Anton and Janette Stehule, Manitowoc; one sister, Sophie Remeiker, Manitowoc. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. this Monday (TODAY) where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. by deacon Alan Boeldt
