ANNA HERMAN

Mrs. Anna Herman, 80, of 1231 S. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Monday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient since June 14.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc, with the Rev. Alfred Pritzl officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

She was born Anna Handl March 18, 1883, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Albert and Mary Bertler Handl. She attended parochial school at Manitowoc and was married to Edward Herman June 14, 1923, at Manitowoc. He died May 27, 1936, and since his death Mrs. Herman had operated Herman’s Tavern at Manitowoc. She was an honorary member of St. Ann Christian Mothers Altar Society of her church.

Among survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Mark LeClair, of Manitowoc; a brother, Albert, of Milwaukee; four sisters, Mrs. Walter Baetke, Mrs. Elizabeth Gerl, Miss Rose Handl and Mrs. Viola Mueller all of Manitowoc and four grandchildren. Three brothers preceded her in death.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. by the St. Ann Altar Society and parish.
