Mrs. Theresa Herrmann, 69, mother of City Treasurer William C. Herrmann, died at 2:45 a.m. today at the Holy Family hospital.
Shock after falling, Monday at her home, 1413 S. Tenth street and breaking her hip was the cause of her death.
The body was removed to Pfeffer's where it will lie in state after 2 p.m. Thursday. Saturday at 9:30 brief rites will be held at the funeral home, followed by a requiem mass celebrated by the Rev. Alfred Pritzl at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in Calvary cemetery.
Mrs. Herrmann, nee Theresa Friedl, was a lifelong resident of Manitowoc, being born in the city on Dec. 12, 1874. In 1896 she was united in marriage with William H. Herrmann, who passed away in 1902.
Besides the one son, five brothers, Charles, John, Frank and Edwin Friedl, Manitowoc; George, Kenosha, and three sisters, Mrs. J.E. Reindl, Chicago; and Mrs. Sophie Butler and Mrs. Odin J. Wilda, both of Manitowoc, survive. Three grandchildren also survive.
Members of the St. Anne Christian Mothers Altar society of St. Boniface will pray the rosary for the deceased at 7 p.m. Friday.
