John J. Holschbach, age 70, of 328 Union Place, Manitowoc, died Saturday morning, December 9, 1995, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 13, 1995, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. Concelebrating the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Ronald Reimer and Rev. Phillip Hoffmann with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born November 27, 1925, in Manitowoc, son of the late Alois and Lillian Ackerman Holschbach. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School and a lifelong Manitowoc resident. Mr. Holschbach was employed by Plumb and Nelson for 38 years and most recently by St. Paul's parish. He married the former Rosemary Schmit May 20, 1950, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Holschbach, Manitowoc ;two daughters and one son-in-law, Carol and Kenneth Sitkiewitz, Manitowoc, Lori Leschka and her fiancé, Robert Williams, Sheboygan; six grandchildren, Tammy Casey and Jamie Leschke; Eric, Sara, and Adam Sitkiewitz; two great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Harold Holschbach, rural Manitowoc, Fredrick and Ruthi Holschbach, Sheboygan Falls; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Lucille Walh, Newton, Ethel and Vic Meyer, Spring Valley, Clarann and LeRoy Wagner, rural Manitowoc, Elaine and Milton Wetenkamp, rural Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law, Theresa Waack, Newton, Shirley Holschbach, rural Manitowoc. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl, Orville and Jerry Holschbach, one sister-in-law, Grace Holschbach, and one brother-in-law, Tom Walsh.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held at 8:30 p.m. led by Deacon Alan Boeldt. His friends of St. Paul's will say the Rosary at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
