Kristina M. (Tess) Gilliam, age 38, of Green Bay, died Thursday, October 19, 2000, at St. Vincent Hospital,Green Bay.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 23, 2000, at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. William O'Brien.
Kristina was born June 30, 1962, in Two Rivers, daughter of Donald F. and Lucille (Bohman) Tess. She was a graduate of Washington High School with the class of 1980. Kristina worked at Humana-Employers Health Insurance Company in Green Bay for 15 years a Lead Claims Analyst.
Survivors include her son, Andrew William Tess, Green Bay; her parents, Donald and Lucille Tess, Two Rivers; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Barb Tess, Sheboygan, Tom and Jan Tess, Fond du Lac, Tim and Caroline Tess, Elmhurst, Ill., Wayne and Jean Tess, Manitowoc; five sisters and four brothers-in-law, Joan and Craig Schultz, Rock Hill, S.C., Kathy and Mark Berge, Reedsville, Karen and Jeff Hendries, Green Bay, Jane and Steve Stoltenow, Oshkosh, Donna Stanzel and her fiance, Michael Weier, Two Rivers; nieces and nephews, Dan, Andy and Mike Tess, Jonathan and Joanna Tess, Nick, Nathan and Alex Tess, Christine Schwaegler, Lindsay and Austin Tess, Samantha Schultz, Cheri and David Koch, Nicole, Becki, and Shaun Berge, Eric Hendries, Jenny and Mathew Stoltenow, Joshua Tess, and Jessica Stanzel; many other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Julia Tess, Tisch Mills, Anton and Rose Bohman, Mishicot.
Friends may call at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers from 4-8 p.m. Sunday where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. led by Father Bill. The visitation will continue Monday at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
Memorial and scholarship funds have been established at Pioneer Credit Union, Green Bay to benefit her son Andrew.
Kristy's life touched many, may her birth light shine on forever. She was awesome!!
