Cecelia E. Krohn, age 96, of 2222 S. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening, November 4, 1998, at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 1998, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Camillus Janas, O.F.M., with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born July 16, 1902, in the town of Manitowoc, daughter of the late Charles and Emma Bruins Kirchen. In 1912, she moved to Cascade, Iowa, with her parents and returned to Manitowoc in 1917. On November 4, 1933, she married Fred W. Krohn at St. Boniface Caholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death January 14, 1989. Mrs. Krohn was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and the St. Theresa Society.
Survivors include a son, Norman Krohn, Reading, Pa.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Arthur, Lester, Raymond and Charles.
Friends may call at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc, from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at 11 a.m.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
