HERMAN KUGLER RAPIDS, DIES AT HOME FRIDAY
Herman Kugler, aged 59 years, who for sixteen years operated a dance hall at Manitowoc Rapids, and who prior to that time was employed at the shipyards here, passed away on Friday night at the family home in Rapids. He had been in falling health for a year past. Funeral
services will be held Monday morning at nine o'clock from the St. Paul Catholic church with Father Jaekels officiating.
Mr. Kugler was born in the town of Manitowoc Rapids in 1871 and has always made his home there. He was married April 22, 1893 to Miss Catherine Simmer, who survives him together with two daughters, Mrs. Benj. Orth and Mrs. George N. Jagermann and one son, William, all of
Rapids. Two brothers, Walter and Frank, of Rapids, and a sister Anna of Kalmath Falls, Ore., also survive together with five grandchildren.
For a number of years the deceased was employed at the shipyards here and fifteen years ago took over the dance hall and soft drink parlor at Rapids, which he continued to operate.
Mr. Kugler was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
