Born in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Geary and Jane Adams South. She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Boonsboro. A number of nieces and nephews survive.
Friends may call at the Grove Funeral Home, Williamsport, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Charles Birx officiating. Burial will be in the Beaver Creek Cemetery, Beaver Creek, Md.
