Ola was the daughter of Nathan Austin and Lucinda Mariah 'Lou' (Bruner) Fox. She married James Franklin Moose in 1899 and they were the parents of twelve children: Lena Estelle, Annie Mae, Fred Lee, Carrie Lou, Edna Kathleen, Eugene, Evelyn Mildred, Helen Altha, Edgar, Harold Austin, (Infant Son) and James Max.

Funeral Held For
Mrs. J. F. Moose

Services Conducted From Bethlehem
Methodist Church This Afternoon
at 2 O'clock

The funeral service for Mrs. Ola Fox Moose, wife of Mr. James F. Moose, who died yesterday morning was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from Bethlehem Methodist church, of which Mrs. Moose was a member, with interment in the cemetery there. The service was conducted by Rev. E. H. Poe, pastor of the Bethlehem church, assisted y Rev. Charles Morrison, of Mount Airy.
Mrs. Moose is survived by her husband and eleven children: Mrs. G. M. McWhorter and Mrs. R. B. Lackey, of Statesville; Mrs. C. H. Mason, of Charlotte; also Fred, Edna, Eugene, Evelyn, Helen, Lynn, Edgar and Harold Moose and an infant born the day the mother died.
Her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. N. A. Fox, of Alexander county, also survive; and four sisters and three brothers, as follows; Mr. H. C. Fox of Mooresville; Mrs. M. A. Heffner, Greensboro; Mr. J. M. Fox, Dudley; Mrs. E. W. Keller, Charlotte; Mrs. Edgar Fox, Los Angeles, Cal., Mrs. T. F. Keever, Alexander county; and Mrs. Ed. W. Echerd, Granite Falls. Mrs. Moose was 45 years old.
