Carrie was the fifth of thirteen children born to James Franklin and Ola Mozelle (Fox) Moose. She married Rome Brooks Lackey on Dec. 24 1926 and they had five children: Ola Loreece, Donald Louie, Jerry Brooks, Judy Elaine and David Charles.
