Blanche Bereznuk, 95, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015. She was born November 29, 1919 in Waterbury, Connecticut. A resident of Yuma, AZ since 1969, during the 70's Blanche and her husband, Tony, co-owned the Royal Inn Motel, Woman's World Beauty Salon, and the Palomino Pony Bar. After retiring she enjoyed spending time caring for her grandchildren and sewing. Blanche was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Anthony. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Lockard and Diane (Richard) Samrah; grandchildren, Deborah Seruya, Michael Christopher, Michelle (Mark) Friends, Ashley (Aaron) Lordeman, and Kenny Payne (Kendra Gryte); great grandchildren, Jax Payne, Nathan Christopher, Clifford Christopher, Anthony Seruya, and Cynthia Shillibeer. A service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Johnson Mortuary, 1415 S. 1st Avenue with Deacon Rick Hernandez of St. Francis of Assisi officiating. Burial to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Yuma -or at a charity of your choice.
