Mrs. Elizabeth Kohr Succumbs to Complication of Diseases - Funeral Services Will Be Held on Friday Morning

Mrs. Elizabeth Kohr, aged 64 years, died yesterday morning at 3:20 o'clock at her home at First Lock, from a complication of diseases. She had been ill for the past year, but only bedfast for the past seven weeks.

She was a daughter of the late Levi and Harriet Runkle and was born at Manada Hill, along the Jonestown Road in Dauphin County, March 11, 1855. She was a member of the Royalton United Brethren Church and also a member of the Ladies' Aid Society of that church. She has resided at First Lock for the past thirty five years.

Mrs. Kohr is survived by her husband, Alexander A. Kohr, and three sons, Thomas E. Kohr, at Harrisburg; Alexander A. Kohr of town, and John E. Kohr at home, two daughters, Mrs. Roy A. Sheppard of Harrisburg and Mrs. Charles Meinsler of First Lock; one brother, Aaron Runkle of Harrisburg; four sisters, Mrs. Lydia Page, town; Mrs. Emma Scheaffer, Elizabethtown; Mrs. Sara Ulrich, of Harrisburg; Mrs. Alfred Landis, of Hummelstown. Nineteen grandchildren and one great grandson also survive.

The funeral service will be held on Friday morning at 10 o'clock at her late home at First Lock and further services at Geyer's Church at 11 o'clock. Burial will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church. Relatives are invited without further notice.
