Alberto "Coco" Miranda born on June 26, 1941 in Nogales, Arizona.
Passed away April 20, 2015.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Aida Miranda; his children, Annabelle (Michael), Jose (Carmen), and Monica (Steve). Also survived by his grandchildren, Chachy, Stevie, Savannah, Julian, Miranda, Sergio, Santiago, Sabrina, Joshua, Destini, Araceli, and Cece. He was also survived by his brothers and sisters.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged after fulfilling four years.
He enjoyed team roping with his father and had passion for playing softball with the senior softball league, where he proudly played for the Tucson Cowboys for the past 18 years and the AZ Reds for two years. He always enjoyed driving around his cement mix truck, which he did for a living since 1970. He will be remembered as a hard-working man who provided more than enough for his wife, children, and grandchildren. He loved having his family around every weekend for cookouts.
Visitation will be held on Thursday April 30, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary, with rosary prayed at 7:00 p.m. A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine Cathedral on Friday, May 1, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Holy Hope Cemetery.
