AGED RESIDENT OF COUNTY DIES
Mrs Louisa McNeall of Columbus, Died Sunday Morning

Followed A LONG ILLNESS
WAS RESIDENT OF COUNTY FOR MORE THAN SIXTY YEARS

After hovering over the home of Mrs. Louisa McNeall of Columbus,this county for several weeks, the Angle of Death Sunday morning at 9:30 o'clock, laid claim to the life and spirit of one of the county's pioneer residents that of Mrs. McNeall, widow of the late Dr. Nathan H. McNeall, a former Adams county practicing physician.

Mrs. McNeall, aged 71 years, was born in West Chester, Ohio, on December 15, 1842. At the age of ten she came west with her parents, the late Derrick and Rachel Whitlock, and settled with them in the village of Columbus in the fall of 1853. Her father conducted a general merchantdise store at Columbus for a number of years, With the exception of a few years spent at Denver, Ill. and Paloma, this county, the deceased was a resident of Columbus, where she was widely known and respected by all.
On February 2, 1860 she was married to the late Dr. N. H. McNeall, and to this union five children, two daughters and three sons were born. She was proceeded in death by the hysband who died in 1883; and the two daughters, Annie McNeall, who died in 1870, and Osa Blanch McNeall Lummis, who died in 1891. The surviving sons are Rolla E. of 1847 Broadway, this city; Wilbur H. of Paloma, a rural mail carrier, and Derrick L., of Columbus, cashier of the State Street Bank at Coatsburg. Eight grandchildren, one brother, Dr. G.E. Whitlock of Columbus, and other relatives also survive.
