Ilion, Dec. 21 - Mrs. Patrick Carney, a much respected resident of the village, died at the family home here last evening, aged 83 years. Mrs. Carney was born in Ireland, and when a young girl came to this country . She has been a resident of this village for many years. Her husband died about a year ago, and since that time has made her home with one of her sons. She is survived by six sons: Michael, Patrick, and Phillip of this village, Rev. Eugene and Rev. Thomas Carney of Plattsmouth, Neb. and John of Ireland; and two daughters, Mrs. James Finnerty and Mrs. Michael Meehan, both of Frankfort. The funeral will be held from the Church of the Annunciation Saturday morning. Burial will be made in St. Agnes Cemetery.
