Josephine Baima, 100, of Benld, IL, died at The Glenwood in Staunton, IL on Friday, April 17, 2015. She was born on February 13, 1915, in Benld, IL to Joseph Raukar and Antonia Malnar Raukar. She married John Baima. He preceded her in death on September 7, 1990.
She was retired after having worked as a hand sewer for the Garment Co. Josephine was a member of the CFU Lodge 217 of Benld, IL, St. Joseph’s Altar Society, Benld Chapter AARP, H.E.A., and International Ladies Garment Workers.
She is survived by her son, Joseph (Kay) Baima of Cape Coral, FL; daughter, Diana (Wayne) Danielson of Danvers, IL.
Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, brothers, Emil Raukar, Rudy Raukar, sisters, Katherine Stimac and Antoinette Valsoano.
