ST. GERMAIN, Arnold Veteran WWII, 1942-1945, United Kingdom and Continental Europe. Retired employee Public Works Canada, Ottawa. Passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2006 at Sacred Heart Manor, Fort Coulonge in his 84th year. Arnold was the son of the late Michael St. Germain and Catherine O'Hare and stepson of the late Edna Seeley. He is sadly missed by his devoted wife, Gabrielle (Gabe) Durocher of 59 years and sister Clarice (Oscar Landry), Ottawa. He will be lovingly remembered by granddaughters Vanessa (Michael Bury), Montreal and Jessica, Vancouver, B.C.; grandsons Jansen (Eliza), Montreal and James (Julie), Campbell's Bay; great-grandsons Ayden and Ryan Robillard; son-in-law Michael (Marie) Robillard, Campbell's Bay; sisters-in-law Hazel Dupuis, Teresa Skripaky and Jean Ward (Edwin) all of Fort Coulonge. Predeceased by a daughter Catherine (Michael Robillard) and sisters Eileen (Clarence Ringrose), Marion (Gordon Schroeder-Darcy McManus) and Helen. A memorial Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Basil Tanguay at St. John the Evangelist Church, Campbell's Bay Quebec on Friday, June 16 at 1 p.m. Interment of ashes in parish cemetery followed by a reception in the parish hall. Special thanks to family members, friends, Danielle Desrochers, Staff of Sacred Heart Manor, Fr. Nil Guillemette and Dr. Martin Benfey for their support and loving care provided to Arnold. In memoriam, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
