LANDRY, Oscar Michael, Paul, Keith, John and Marc are sad to announce the passing of their father, Oscar Landry on Wednesday April 4, 2007, age 86. He was a mentor and an inspiration to us all. Born in Otter Lake to Marie Louise Corriveau and Henri Joseph Landry. Survived by his sister Rose and predeceased by 7 brothers and 2 sisters. Proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Oscar spent his childhood in Campbell's Bay, Quebec and later became a student and boarder at St. Pat's High School where he stayed on to complete a Degree in Arts. During WWII, Oscar volunteered and served as a navigator in the Lancaster Bomber with the Royal Australian Air Force. He returned to marry his childhood sweetheart from the Pontiac, Clarice St. Germain, remaining together until her death in October of 2006. He was passionate about his career in the Civil Service and cherished the friendships he had with peers. He enjoyed his retirement, with his wife Clarice, wintering in Daytona and the summers playing golf with his buddies at The Highlands. An active volunteer with the RA Centre, serving as Director, President and Trustee. Special thanks to the staff and friends at The Court at Barrhaven and Dialysis Team at the Riverside Campus. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Avenue (south of Fallowfield) Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Monday to St. John the Evangelist Church, Campbell's Bay for Mass of Christian Funeral at 2:00 p.m. Interment Parish Cemetery.
