Margaret Williams Blood passed away at the age of ninety-six on May 2, 2015.

Margaret was born July 22, 1918 to George Malin and Catherine Clawson Williams in Salt Lake City.

Margaret married Melvin Loynd Blood in the Salt Lake Temple on September 23, 1938.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Margaret was always willing to help anyone in need and spent many years as ward and stake Relief Society President.

She then continued giving service by being an Ordinance Worker in the Salt Lake Temple for almost twenty-five years.

Margaret is survived by her four children, Catherine Crawford, Claudia (Dennis) VanGerven, Mark (Sara) Blood, and Barbara (Brad) Thornley; brother, Ned Williams; and twenty-two grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. Blood; son, David Blood; and her parents.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, May 7, 2015 in the Hunter Second Ward Chapel, 3970 South 5200 West, West Valley City. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive (1495 East), East Millcreek, and on the day of the services at the church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
