They were the parents of 4 daughters. Charlotte was also married to George Allen. Doremus married 2nd in 1876 to Sarah Elinora Anson. He married 3rd in 1890 to Orcelia Emma Mathewson. He lived in Adrian, Lenawee County, Michigan in 1880 and Corning, Steuben County, New York in 1892. He died on 29 September 1913, in Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan, at the age of 71. Civil War - Enlisted Jan 12, 1863. Discharged May 22, 1865
