Ambria Mikail Dunn, age 9, of Cannon, was born on May 13, 2000 in Barbourville. She was a daughter of David Dunn and Teakela Wilson Dunn. Ambria Mikial died Tuesday, November 24, 2009 in the Knox County Hospital. She was a member of the Goldbug Baptist Church in Williamsburg; a 4th grade student at Barbourville Elementary, where she was on the Principle's list, the Honor Roll, and was in the Pep Club. She was preceded in death by her maternal Great Grandparents: Marvin and Kezia Robertson, and Frank and Rachel Wilson; and her paternal Great Grandfather: Rev. Commiedore Dunn.
She is survived by her loving family: Her Mother and Father: Teakela Wilson Dunn and David Dunn. Her Brother: David Maliq Dunn, and her two sisters: Adrienne and Ajalon Dunn. Her maternal Grandparents: Rev. Alvin and Christial Wilson of Kings Mountain, North Carolina. Her paternal Grandparents: Rev. Alvin and Bonnie Dunn of Cannon. Her paternal great Grandparents: Fount and Marie Root of Woollum; and Mattie Dunn of Barbourville; and many special Aunts and Uncles, and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Ambria Mikail Dunn will be conducted Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, with Ambria Mikail's Grandfathers Rev. Alvin Wilson and Rev. Alvin Dunn Officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunn Family Cemetery at Woollum, with Steve Mills, Bob Dunn, James Dunn, Michael Bright, Jeff Dunn, James David Dunn, Nasby Stroop, Shawn Hammons and Billy Joe Dunn serving as pallbearers. Honoary Pallbearers will be: the Barbourville Elementary School Students and Teachers. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home on Friday after 6:00 P.M. and on Saturday after 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 2:00 P.M.
