News has been received of the sudden death of Richard Henwood Blamey, manager of the Murrumbidgee Milling Company, Wagga. It appears that Mr. Blamey, who had been indisposed and who had been advised to rest, motored to Sydney, accompanied by his wife, and stayed at a hotel, where he died in his sleep yesterday. Mr. Blamey was a business manager whose service to the mill was greatly appreciated by the directors and shareholders. Mr. Blamey, who was about 60 years old, was the elder brother of the Victorian Police Com- missioner (General Blamey) and Mr. J. C. Blamey, of Blamey's, Ltd., Wagga.
