Louise E. Stambaugh, 95, died Monday, May 4, 2015, at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Wilbert D. Stambaugh.

Born March 21, 1920, in Yoe, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Pearl (Spangler) Bruggeman.

She worked for Maple Press as a Bookbinder. Louise is a former member of Messiah United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Nancy L. Houseal of York, Paulette E. Poe of Dover, and Carol A. Romito of Dillsburg; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard E. Stambaugh; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 8, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market St., York. A visitation will be held Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
