NORTHBOROUGH Carolyn S. (Chase) Pavilionis, 69, died on Friday, June 3, 2011 in her home, after a long illness. Her husband, Gerald S. Pavilionis died in 1998; her son, Eric Pavilionis in 1996, and her brother, Frederich Fenner this past May. Carolyn leaves behind her 2 daughters, Tina Lee and her husband Stephen of Northborough, Sandra Rheaume and her husband Roger of Leicester; her son, William Pavilionis and his wife Lisa of Oxford; her sister, Barbara Gustafson of Oxford; 8 grandchildren, Jennifer Konde, Coda Capobianco, Karissa Lee, Tanner Pavilionis, Nicole Kerner, Katie Pavilionis, Alicia Pavilionis, Sara Pavilionis; many nieces and nephews. Born in Stoughton and raised in Worcester, the daughter of the late Alton and Myrtle (McCarty).
Carolyn worked at Rocky's Ace Hardware for the last 9 years. Prior to that, she was employed at Greenery Rehabilitation in Worcester. She enjoyed knitting and was a member of Sawyer's bowling league. Carolyn was a member of Tower Hill Botanical Garden and Northborough Senior Center. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved cats Callie & Jojo.
